ALTEK Europe Ltd. (ALTEK-MDY) on 31st July 2009 successfully acquired the assets of J.McIntyre (Machinery) Ltd., the manufacturer of TARDIS dross presses from its UK administrator.

J.McIntyre (Machinery) Ltd. had entered into Administration in the United Kingdom in accordance with Insolvency Act 1986 (pursuant to an order of the court dated on April, 22th 2009). Altek Europe Ltd., in acquiring the assets of the business are committed to continue to support the TARDIS brand and product in the aluminium market.

Alan Peel, Managing Director of Altek Europe Ltd. stated that, "The acquisition of the TARDIS dross press brand into the ALTEK-MDY company supports our continued growth strategy to provide support and ongoing development to the aluminium industry in the field of total dross management.
We have also recruited additional key TARDIS commissioning and service personnel from the old J.McIntyre (Machinery) company and, along with the personnel already employed within ALTEK, means that we are well resourced to provide excellent ongoing support for existing TARDIS installations around the world.
It is our intention to further develop the dross press product technology and with our associated product offerings to the aluminium industry, means that we are further extending our capability, knowledge and experience in 'The Art of Dross Management."

ALTEK-MDY has two operational bases, one in the UK and also one in the US.
ALTEK-MDY has a range of products from the ALTEK dross press, SIBER FORCE electromagnetic stirrer, skimming machines, Tilt Type Rotary Furnaces, RHINO CAST Steel Castings, Consultancy Services and the addition of the TARDIS product and brand brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to 'The Art of Dross Management', the company's focus.
