The patented head cooling system allows TARDIS to process all types and temperatures of dross, including the hottest thermiting dross. Because oxidation is stopped within minutes, metal loss is prevented and aluminium recovery is maximised. Fast cooling also protects the head casting from excessive heat, extends the life of machine components, reduces the number of pots required and allows for continual operation of the system.
