Spares Support
ALTEK have a dedicated spares team in each office whose focus is to provide spares support to existing users of ALTEK, MDY or TARDIS equipment users. This includes providing quick quotations on request for spares items identified by the user (Jackie Gilmore [UK] and Jorge Fernandez [US]) and then expediting the ordering and supply of any spares purchased. Regular contact is also made to existing users to ensure they are aware of the service and contact details of our personnel but also to make sure they are aware of any upgrade packages, improved designs or other changes to the equipment.
Service Visits
As many of our customers have owned their equipment for many years and many of the original personnel involved when the equipment was 1st purchased, may well have moved on to different roles, we offer a service whereby you can request a service technician who would visit your facility, undertake an initial inspection of the equipment, provide any recommendations on parts needing attention, service the equipment as best as possible and, if required, fit any newly purchased spares or upgrade packages.
During this visit he will also be in a position to undertake maintenance training and also operational training of the equipment to user personnel who may be new to the plant and also to offer refresher training to existing personnel.
We actively encourage our clients to purchase annual service agreements where such visits and refresher training, optimisation of the equipment and upgrades would be beneficial.
Dross Press Upgrades

Aluminium Dross Consultancy
Within ALTEK is a group of very experienced process metallurgists and engineers who have worked in the primary, re-melt, secondary and dross processing segments of the aluminium industry for many years.
